Open trolleys VAHLE were developed in 1912 by Ing.Paul Vahle. In the case of the previously commonly used overhead lines, there were frequent breaks in contact, considerable arcing or even large arcing due to the instability and expansion of the conductors. and wire breakage.
Paul Vahle achieved high trolley stability, reliable contact and thus a significant reduction in the transient resistance between the copper conductor and the slippery carbon head of the current collector by coating the T-shaped steel profile with copper conductor. This has significantly prevented frequent operational failures and achieved a long service life of the trolley.
Open trolleys
They are a reliable power supply for rated current up to 4000 A for all moving industrial appliances with predominant operation in harsh conditions, e.g. for overhead cranes, unloading cranes, container handlers, monorails, coke plants, steel mills, steel and foundries, transshipment and port terminals, ship cranes, cement plants, gas plants, etc.
COMPACT WIRING SYSTEM VKS10
The VKS 10 is a compact safety overhead contact line according to DIN VDE 0470 part 1 (EN60529). The compact overhead contact line consists of a uniform plastic chambered flat-moulded carrier profile with bushings for increased stability, in which copper profile conductors of optional cross-sections are optionally inserted as required for the conduction of phase or control current. Up to 10 wires can be fitted. Depending on the selectable phase occupancy, 3-6 poles can be used to conduct the control current.
In addition, the VKS 10 trolley line allows the retrofitting of various position measuring systems and is therefore particularly suitable for various automated rack storage systems.
KBH CLOSED WIRE SYSTEM
The compact and inexpensive KBH closed conductor system has been the market standard in the “low and medium power” sector for many years. It is available with four- or five-pole assignment and with different conductor cross-sections. This allows the transmission of high rated currents up to 200 amps. KBH is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can be equipped with an optional heating wire to prevent frost from forming on the contact rails.
