SMART COLLECTOR

Unplanned system failures often have unpleasant consequences. If the automatic conveying systems in modern production lines stop working, nothing works anymore. The result is often lost sales, which can climb to unimaginable heights if the problems are time-consuming and lengthy to resolve.

To solve this problem, VAHLE has developed the Smart Collector system. The world’s first intelligent current collector uses special sensor technology to record its linear and rotational movements and transmits this data to a master unit where it is evaluated. In this way, the entire guideway system is monitored during operation.

ERTG SYSTEM

The eRTG system consists of an electric telescopic arm with a current collector trolley that allows automatic retraction and extension into the conductor system. The system is available in two versions. The “2+2” version has two driver systems side by side, while the Trimotion version has four driver systems behind.

Both systems have sensors to ensure automatic extension/retraction and steering. The synchronisation unit allows a smooth switchover from diesel power to mains power.

EMS SYSTEM

As rail systems and hinges can be individually designed, EMS are extremely flexible and are therefore also used in many industries. Regardless of the specific application, all systems have one thing in common: they depend on a high-performance power and data delivery system to ensure reliable operation and maximum availability.

VAHLE has developed a total process-safe solution specifically for these requirements. The basis is the U10 insulated guide rail, which can be adapted to almost any track layout. Combined with the SMGM (Slotted Microwave Guide Mini) data communication system, the APOS Optic positioning system and the VCS1 drive control, you get all the components from a single source.
